Being A Freelance Article Writer

naturalwriter-freelance-article-writerI have been a Freelance Article Writer and website owner for a couple of years now, and have found it to be not only an enjoyable experience, but an  educational undertaking. Being hired by a variety of individuals, both online and offline, allows me to be the NaturalWriter I yearn to be.

Having realistic expectations when it comes to Freelance work is an important trait, as you can’t depend on consistent or fixed online wages. Your net income works like commission, therefore depends on how many orders or sales you make.

There are many things I need to do to ensure I stay on top of my day to day bills, and be able to provide for my son. Though some weeks aren’t as profitable as others, I take the downtime to do the following:

:) Advertise my services and sites in the variety of forums           I belong to.

:) Create listings, services or gigs on the various micro job sites  I’m a member of.

:) Contribute to each forum by writing well thought out posts and suggestions, while assisting others with issues they may be having.

:) Make website updates through new banners, videos or posts.

:) Prepare flyers for local businesses to view.

:) Discuss business ideas with associates and colleagues.

:) Build and maintain sites to sell.

:) Write stories and posts surrounding affiliate products or services I’m promoting.

:) Deal with simple coding.

:) And more.

Since I’m not just known as NaturalWriter in the online world, I cover numerous niches worldwide providing several services. Most of these other services surround writing stories about a wide variety of things. I have written short storybooks for children, journal entries and mature erotica content specific to various fetishes.  I keep very busy with maintaining my different empires, while building my stature as NaturalWriter.

With being a single Mother and working part-time in healthcare, working Freelance is a challenging but worthwhile job, as it brings forward many learning opportunities. So far I have learned, and expanded my knowledge  in:

:D Philosophy

:) Religion

:D Infrared sauna’s

:) Video converter formats

:D Construction management

:) Energy saving products

:D Body building products

:) Muay Thai and the culture surround the martial art

:D Methods of gardening

:) Household management

:D Perspectives of both buyers and sellers

:) Methods of potty training

:D Social Media

:) Bitcoin

:D As Seen On TV Products (Spider Catchers, Steady Seat, etc)

:) ProVia Doors

:D Depression

:P And SOOOO much more…lol

All of the above and then some required research and lots of creative thinking, as some needed to be in story form while others were going to be strict website content for online and offline businesses.

When performing these duties, I have to maintain communication with the client to ensure their full satisfaction, by including them in the project at hand by:

√ Asking them questions regarding direction, or voicing concerns with possible problems.

√ Keeping the client up to date with the progress of the article or content.

√ Sending rough drafts for their review, as this allows them opportunities to voice concerns of their own content by providing me the feedback I need to write successfully.

Communication is the biggest part of the job, as I need to make sure they get what they want with no questions asked. Everything else with the task falls into place once you have good, solid and consistent communication.

As challenging as it can be at times, being a Freelance Article Writer is a rewarding job. It opens up your mind, letting you express yourself in many ways, and it gives me the awesome opportunity to NOT work full time allowing me to have MORE time with my son, enjoying what I want to do, when I want to do it.

I truly enjoy writing, and it’s something I will continue to do until I can no longer do it ;)

Be well! Be strong! Be YOU!!
